Purpose and Audience
Wow I had no idea that America had nothing in the way of celebrating our authors. That is a pretty sad fact. You had a great article here about how the museum came about, giving lots of information about its creation. Your targeted audience is, well, writing.com, for all of us aspiring authors who'd love to see our names in print, and love the use of the written word for those who came before us.

Consistency and Cohesiveness
Your article was consistent and easy to follow. I appreciated the links to look further into this subject and see how the museum was coming about.

Structure
You started out with facts and introduced Malcolm O'Hagan and how he became inspired to do something for America's authors after a visit to the Dublin Writers Museum. You also pointed out how we have museums to celebrate sports icons, American's history, music, but nothing when it came to the literary world.

Mechanics
I found no errors in your article.

Personal Response
This is very informative and really surprised me, but also made me excited to learn that something is being done about it. It won't be a traditional museum, but more engaging to the visitors and I think that is a really smart way to go. I could understand the concept of preferring a library over a museum where it is just filled with books. It looks to be very high tech and interactive, which I believe will bring a lot of people through the doors. Thank you for giving me a wonderful place to add to my bucket list! Great article.
