"Game of Thrones"   by Gaby ~ Quiet contemplation

OVERALL IMPRESSION -
This leads me to think that Kevin must be dead and rotting away in the kitchen. At least that's what you've alluded to in this short story. You did a great job with the small amount of words you used to convey the scene and show what was happening.

WHAT I LIKED BEST -
Her irritation at him for not helping, when it seems like even if he wanted to he couldn't.

PLOT~
Amanda climbs up on a chair and hangs another fly strip to catch the bugs that have invaded her kitchen. She is totally disgusted with their presence and can't seem to get control of it. She's also irritated by her husband, Kevin for sitting around, doing nothing to help her, and letting the insects crawl all over him.

CHARACTER(S)~DESCRIPTION~
It was easy to picture Amanda pulling out the chair and climbing on top of it to hang another strip. But the best description lied in her complaint about Kevin who sat quietly with the filthy insects crawling over his eyes and in his nose. That was fantastic and really had me believing Kevin is dead.

DIALOG~
Only one line, but what an eye opener it was. It showed why Amanda had such an intense bug problem and her state of mind. Well done!
