"Game of Thrones"   by Gaby ~ Quiet contemplation

OVERALL IMPRESSION -
A solid story about how even when wishes do come true, sometimes they come at an awful price. I'm glad this had a happy ending.

WHAT I LIKED BEST -
That the King realizes his mistake and that he is able to take back his wish and have his world restored.

PLOT~
As the King counts his money heading into down, he recalls a time last year when he'd made his wish to the satyr thinking that if everything he touched turned to gold he'd be happier. He finds out the hard way that what's most important in his world is the joy of nature and his daughter. He begs the satyr to undo the magic and is glad when everything he'd touched and turned to gold has returned again.

CHARACTER(S)~DESCRIPTION~
The King who recalls that horrible day last year when everything he touched turned to gold. Now he has the things he cherishes back and is using his money to help those in need. I couldn't even imagine what it would like to see everything one color as it turned to metal. I could feel the King despising it now as he learned his lesson the hard way.

DIALOG~
The King talking to himself, reminding him that he never wants to go back to a time when everything that surrounded him was gold.

This would be my name.
