Purpose and Audience
Intended for anyone posting their creative works on social media, which is relevant to most of us these days. It is a reminder to not let the number of views stop us from continuing on.

Consistency and Cohesiveness
It was easy to follow and understand the points the author was trying to make.

It moved well from one paragraph to the next, with good transitions.

The author used a story involving a friend to get their point across.

Personal Response
I have learned early on not to watch the number of likes, though I completely understand how a high number gives someone a sense of pride. I created a Facebook page for my published books, and the first week it took off, but after that, it slumped, so I can identify with your friend who posts his music and doesn't always get the likes he's looking for. It's very easy to get caught up in all of the social media frenzies these days. We are practically programmed to it now as a society, and it's really sad when you think about it. You made a valid point at the end to not let it us from continuing our crafts and to push forward past the little numbers.
