Greetings, S.KHelper

This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions: Hello, and thank you for allowing me to read and review your powerfully stark poem, "War... War Never Changes. Over the eons that mankind has walked this Earth, there have been many studies that that involve ALL aspects of man's behavior. Men and women display - wherever they may be - certain traits that are said to be universal, meaning that literally wherever you find us, you will see certain behaviors identical in each culture.

No matter how diverse or disparate.

Indeed, the one quality that mankind always shares with each other is the ability to wage war upon others.

That said, it is the quality of this poem that finds its way into the mindset of many who choose to listen to its message - and poems like this remind us, yet again, of war's maxim...."War Is Hell".

Overall Impact: This writing is hard-hitting, stark and filled with the violent imagery that warfare brings to us. Truthfully, with each passing World War, the politicians that speak at the end of them always say that this previous conflict was "the war to end all wars."

We know now so absolutely differently.

There is the mention of 6 million lost, which may indeed be a reference to the Holocaust during the Second World War. In addition to those lives lost, Hitler murdered approximately 20 million more. Josef Stalin murdered some 30 million kulaks....peasant farmers of Russian origin that refused Communist collectivization of that nation. Mao Tse Tung, the worst evil to exist on this planet, ordered up to 90 million Chinese due to their failure to align with his Communist insurgency and later despotic rule.

There is more than enough evil to go around in this world....

Errors: There are no errors found here.

Summation: Indeed, the mantra we read and re-read here in this poem is that there is just ONE MAN who orders warfare to begin in earnest, but mind us all, all the millions that follow him decide to pull the trigger.

Can we all imagine the idea that....what if....someone called for a war....and no one showed up?

That is another slogan that I heard, but that is for another review, for another time....

KEEP WRITING!!

Once again, thank you for providing me the opportunity to read and review for Simply Positive; this also has been written in affiliation with
