This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions: Hello, and thank you for allowing me to read and review your painful story entitled: "Jacob.

In many senses of the word, when we discover that Death has visited someone without our knowledge, what usually instinctively follows is a regret that we'd never had the chance to properly bid them farewell.

In truth, there are many reasons for our wanting to say goodbye to someone we loved, adored and have reason to say we've loved with our entire being...

Overall Impact: Sometimes what we hope for is dashed to pieces, right before our eyes. Sometimes it can happen when a parent, in need of emergency care and is transported to the hospital, waves us off, telling us that they will be fine.

Later that night, we get a phone call ... and it is not from them. While they didn't mean to die without us there, there are moments in life that we didn't bargain for. And literally cannot do anything about.

This story is like that. This story may indeed shake one's faith. For this story speaks of the person within it being robbed of someone's love, someone that they've loved.

And they lose them in the most tragic, tragic way....

Errors: There are no obvious errors in this story this evening.

Summation: All told, this is a well-written story, one that compels us to feel deeply, feel the emptiness of losing someone without our having the chance to be there for them.

In many senses of the word, this story will reach out... and take your heart.

It is not a story that is soft or somehow to be taken lightly.

Life is like this sometimes. We must understand that there are times in Life that we find ourselves in extenuating circumstances, and that Fate prevents us from seeing a loved one leave in a far different manner than we could ever plan...

KEEP WRITING!!!
