"SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP

Hello there, Brent Miller
This is a Simply Positive Review! *TeapotG*

*Shuffle* I am also reviewing your item because I was volunteered as a "Goose" over at "Invalid Item. Thank you for entering your item into the fundraising contest.

*Target2* Wow, I was totally absorbed with this story. It has the recipe of life, love and continued happiness. It also has an amazing moral to the story. In the beginning, love is brilliant and blinding, as one leaps into the arms of another and the couple plans their future together. The woman, felt the flattery from her intended as well as his deep love. He spent much time finding the perfect totem to celebrate their love for a lifetime. She, did what he asked, she accepted the cumbersome gift given to her for her hand in marriage. It was a heavy stone, with iron pyrite visible on it. That of course is fool's gold.

*DropV* Was he a fool or was he filled with wisdom? The reader will insert her ideas on the subject. He was filled with idealistic love and needed to cement their bond with a gift that would not die -- like their love, in his mind. After a while, she felt the burden of carrying the stone with him and offered less and less help. She was letting go of her marital promises. The sight of a village with all the amenities needed to make her comfortable were beginning to seduce her away from her marital vows. She became dishonest, he tried to bring back the foundation of their love, but it was too far gone.

Excellent imagery went along with this story. I really enjoyed it.

Observation:

*BulletB* This story could have been formatted differently to make it flow smoother. I think instead of the numbers as dividers, each paragraph or interjections of thoughts, could have been placed after a double space between the preceding paragraph. Each part looks like a wall of words, without an indent or a double "enter key" hit. Thus, other than the format issues, the story itself was a wonderful read. It has so much more to it than a man, woman and rock, it has a life's valuable lesson woven into it.

*Hotair3* The brief description states "first marriage." Yes, one may learn a lot from that first marriage that prevents the same mistakes during a second time around marriage. Although, there are those who will never learn, and are doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over.

Great job! *RingsGold*

Until next time--write on!
