This is a good story. Being a birthday and wanting to play games comes naturally. The game of spinning the bottle is amusing. Hitting someone with it can be shocking. Ted waits to be hit. The bottle spins out of control and the coins spill out. A mayonnaise jar is a perfect candidate for a spin bottle. The story is very much like games we play on birthdays with kids around. Everyone is waiting for some fun to happen. Cindy as the birthday girl likes to play games. Perhaps, she missed Ted on purpose. That was perhaps the game.
