What brought tHiNg to glide in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* I gave the prompt last week for this in The Writer's Cramp. I was not the judge, but was interested to see what you writers would do with my prompt.

What does tHiNG think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* The poem flows very well and tells the tale of the confusion we all felt all those years ago.

On this site, Bandit's Mama was killed in one of the Twin Towers. She wrote a lot about love and understanding, along with a premonition of what was to come. I think she would (if she could speak to us now) agree with trying to find our way back to the love and kindness that make some kind of sense.

What does tHiNG applaud about while reading your item?

This stuck with me:

"Yet for the most part we both vowed to fight the cause for love,
to advocate reality and curb faith’s feeble shove.
With minds so lost there is the stench of bigotry and hate,
as seen by such religious fervor on that fateful date."

When we look to trying to find love and common ground with others, we honor the memories of those who died that day and since.

Profoundly moving poetry. Well done!

P.S. I am someone who loves to read and review. That is a pretty simple statement and it is true, in the spirit of Ernest Hemingway, who once said, "Write one true thing." *Heart*
