Greetings, Shade of Mirrors!
This is pretty neat, considering how short it is. I like how you've compared the family of dogs to a real family of people, and the whole piece has a nice, heartwarming feel to it. The idea of the 'Mama' and 'Papa' dogs playing fetch with 'The master' while their brood scolds them for leaving them was a nice touch, and you couldn't have ended it any better.
If I didn't know better, I'd think you were actually watching this all take place while you wrote this! (I'm right, huh? *Bigsmile*)
'Then another and another until the whole lawn is littered with a litter of pups playing with leaves.' (Great line!)
And I like how you even added a short description of autumn to it at the end!
