The generation 2017 certainly differs from the 90's.

Greetings, Caroline!
I'm not sure how old you are (you mention that you're a '90's baby'-does that mean you were born in the 90's or you grew up in the 90's?), but I agree with you on some of these points.
I was born in 1965 and grew up in the 70's, and we also had chores to do and were taught to respect our elders. That doesn't seem to be the case with these 'millenials' (also known as Generation Y and born between the early 80's and 2000). They seem to be the opposite, expecting everything to be handed to them on a silver platter.
Sorry. That ain't gonna cut it!
And that part about them having newer and nicer phones and cars? Their folks probably bought those for them, and likely with their credit cards. Problem is that they won’t ever be able to cover them.
I’m not saying that these ‘kids’ are spoiled (my own daughters were born in ’84 and ’86), but sooner or later they’re going to have ‘grow up’ and find out what the real world is all about.
Which brings me to another sore subject (sorry). I just heard on the news the other day that certain stores will no longer accept cash! I’m serious! It seems you have to have approved credit to buy anything these days. This is insane! What happened to the days when it was ‘cash only’? I don’t have a credit card, and my bank account has less than $50. I also don’t have a car and don’t really care about material things.
This world is changing, and I fear it’s for the worse.
Anywho, thanks for letting me rant!
