A Lovely Signature Designed For Me



What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* This is about regret over a failed relationship. It's free verse, so technically anything goes.

You have proven that you don't need a lot of words to say a lot. You just need to find the right words to convey a lot of meaning. And you have done that very well.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

This was my favorite part:

"raised glasses faltered
as gold turned to burnt orange
and a toast to the future
became our last farewell"

Of course the sorrow is laced throughout the poem and it is ironic that a toast to future happiness brings the saddest of goodbyes. I especially admire the contrast there in looking to the future while dealing (or I should say, coping) with the fallout of the past.

Beautiful poem with an engaging title. I cannot imagine another title that would be better here.
