You are so fortunate to have such a loving relationship with your mother. The fact that you put it in the present tense as if she is not gone is so touching. In fact you say she lives on in your heart.

Do you speak to her? I do to my dad.

I love how you don't just say she is pretty or beautiful but you describe HOW she is beautiful. I could almost see her smile and eyes as you wrote about them.

Her love wrapping around your heart, I love the way you put 'though she be gone'. Are you Irish or Scot? It made me think of my ancestors and how they would speak.
