What brought me here
A click on 'Contest Entries'. The 'Cool' Title and matching graphic (nice job) caught my attention. I like to use a lot of my own photos and graphics too.

What kept me here
I've entered the Flash Fiction contest enough to enjoy reading them. They are short, entertaining and usually have a funny twist at the end.

It was nice to see the prompts in bold to follow along with how this writer made use of them. The puzzle was set. I was hooked.

What I liked best
I mention this in most reviews. I really appreciate short paragraphs with white space setting them off. A simple thing that really makes online viewing easier. Thanks.

Good show. The conflict of personal fear came in early. It made connecting with elves easier. It increased interest in finding out what was going on here.

My favorite sentence was
Tell you what, I’ll come with you and give some pointers.”

Being a fan of puns (intended or not) the reference to 'pointers' made me chuckle.

Not much of a twist at the end. The story gave me a satisfied "Ahh." emotional sigh to take with me. Emotions are what engage readers. Nice job here, too.

No technical problems with spelling, grammar or style were noted. The writer's attention to these details resulted in a professional polish.

What could be improved
O.K. I'm struggling here. Hmm. I know every effort can use fine tuning forever. It's up to the author to know when to stop. This author did at just the right time. Nice use of the prompt.

Summary
A fun view into the author's mind as prompts are used for this contest. I enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing.
