As a person of partial Irish descent the title of your poem caught my eye. I had read it before (I read all the entries in the Heart Throb Poet contest!) and enjoyed it during both readings. I usually don't do reviews on peers until contest results are announced but figured it was ok because you reviewed my entry.

The beginning of your beautiful poem made me feel happy. The end made me feel sad and wistful.

My favorite part of your romance/love poem was the first stanza:
"Two hands were united
promises made,
Two Claddagh rings given:
Sunlight, no shade"

Your rhyming is great and I didn't notice any errors.
