Hey Andie ,

How are you doing? I've just been going through your completed tasks so far for this month's "Invalid Item. I love reading your responses to the writing tasks. If you want to set up a blog at some point to house your MHWA entries in, just let me know. I can help you set one up where people can comment on each entry.

My experiences with therapists have been pretty much the same as yours. I've definitely had the overly aggressive/hostile therapists, and I just don't understand those people. Why go into psychology if you're going to be so negative and hostile with clients? I've also had a lot of therapists who have specific opinions about medication and those ones are difficult to deal with. I've had ones that are completely holistic and want me to stop taking medication altogether, and then I've had ones on the other side of the spectrum who want me to take tons of different new medications. *Rolleyes*

I agree with your conclusion that therapy works if you find the right therapist and you're willing to put in work. It is often emotionally draining, especially at first (and then in cycles depending on where the therapy is focused at the time), but definitely worth it in the end if you're able to even just get some stability. It's great that you've got a therapist now that you see for a couple hours a month just as a maintenance thing. I think that's really important. *Heart*
