An interesting story for flash fiction. There is good description of setting. The story line moves at a good pace. By the second paragraph I was hooked into reading the story. The ending has a slight twist about eating rats and bats. Good job.

Just a suggestion,
You first wrote that you grabbed her thin wrist and bit, good makes me think vampire. Then you wrote blood oozing from the top of her index finger
So now I'm confused. Did you bite her wrist or finger. I personally like wrist better.
