*StarV* When I read your entry title of 'Microdosing,' I imagined something completely different from what I found. I thought maybe it would be using prescription drugs in small doses. But, this treatment is actually about people who use small amounts of psychedelic drugs to help themselves to feel brighter, more alert, more capable. Controversial, but I have to say the evidence you provide, both in your article, and in the article you have linked, is compelling.

*Starv* I have to say, I love your story of the Ford LTD. That's so funny. When we speak of psychedelics, I immediately think of people tripping on LSD in the sixties. So, I can totally imagine how funny this woman's mistake must have been.

*StarV* You have discussed microdosing as it is increasingly being used to treat depression and anxiety. I assume that must be through people self-medicating? Because I don't think there are any clinical trials at the moment. I think all the evidence is anecdotal, from what I gather. I wonder how long it will take to get some official clinical trials?

*Starv* It's hard to know what, if any, long term damage may be caused by using micro doses of psychedelics regularly. I wonder if it would increase the likelihood of things like dementia. I appreciate the man who first thought of this method lived to be 102. But, I do wonder if he was a one-off.

*Starv* This is fascinating stuff, Jessica. I am intrigued to find out more about it. Having tried many different treatments and drugs for depression and anxiety over the years, this new approach is really interesting. Illegal, but interesting.
