Yours was the post before mine in "I Write in 2018" so I popped over to review. I'm not actually sure how to review just your poem? It appears that I'm reviewing the whole book? But my intention was to just review the poem. I haven't read the whole book Though I have read enough of your poetry to know I love it all, so the rating would be the same either way.

This was a very creative take on the extended metaphor prompt. I haven't read the others' entries but I suspect you will win and I wish you good luck!

My favorite part was "like the eye of the storm.
A perfect moment where I exist."

I had never before thought of the eye of the storm as a moment to savor. Thank you for the expanded consciousness!
