Wow. What a powerful poem. I'm not sure if I understand it though. I totally understand the longing. I also understand the unfilled longing.
I can understand the heartbets, and words. I do not understand when you say thoughts.
It sounds like you mean screams of making love? I'm not sure, lol. I never screamed and I'm sixty four years old. Then you say indistinguishable in time. What is indistinguishable? I got confused.

This happens a lot in poetry. What is in the writers head is part of his soul, and the reader doesn't have the same viewpoint.

As confused as I got, I loved the last two lines. The string of pearls, so intriguing. A mental picture of the milky way glittering above.
