Sometimes there is no harmony, like the guy yelling across the library and almost fighting the security officer. But the past is not always gone. We can draw from it to bolster the serenity we seek. Just a thought.

Being a Christian, I can find serenity just about whenever I want. I thoroughly enjoyed your poem. It is a gentle reminder that we all can use these days.
