Hello!

I stumbled across your piece in the read and review section, and I thought it was a pretty cute nonfiction piece. As a pet owner, I was able to relate to the feelings of doubt and exasperation when dealing with animals that don't want to behave.

One of my favorite aspects was the unusual way that you wrote the dialogue, where it read as more of a scrip format in the middle of the story. It was a little strange at first, but overall I think it was effective - especially in the second instance, where you described the voice being used for the both of the boys' dialogue.

The one thing that I'd consider revisiting in the piece is the introduction. While the exposition included was good, it felt like it took a long time to get to the adventure of the story, considering how short the piece was.

Other than that, I thought the piece was great. It was cute, it was funny, and the style suited the content well.
