Hello!

I found this through the 'Read and Review' tool and thought that it was really beautiful and well written.

There were a few points where the meter felt a little off when being read aloud (which is how I try to always read poetry before I review it) but the rhymes were good, the language never felt forced, and there was a deep emotional impact with the poem that I could really appreciate.

There was one line in particular that resonated with me:


I also think that this was the perfect length. The three stanzas were enough to get the repetition of the final line in there without wearing out the concept or becoming redundant. All in all it was a very well constructed piece that I'm happy to have read.

I wish you all the best with this piece and any other writing that you're working on. I truly hope that I get the chance to read some more of your poetry in the future.
