I read your story and I cringed for your mom and siblings. That's really scary and I can understand how you felt because my mom has dealt with a man who used to drink but he would break things and I hated the fights that my mom had to deal with at that time. The man my mom is with never had a gun thankfully. I won't go into much detail but I can understand why you hid it for all these years later. I have been threatened by my ex- and I still could hear him say he would come after me and do horrible stuff to me. I can't trust the man my mom is with anymore because of what he has caused. I hope you write about your life and it will help someone along the way, you just never know unless you try to do it. Well, you are a great writer and you can make it. Let me know when I could buy your book. I would like to write about my life too. My grandfather fought in ww2 also.
