Hi there

Well, I've read your poem and read the reason you wrote your poem plus why you felt the way you did. I can tell you, I do understand the struggle because my daughter has ADHD too and she hates to take the medication also. she hasn't taken it for a year or so. I know it calms her down and makes her focus but she tells me, she doesn't like taking it because she wants to be herself. It hasn't been easy for me as a mom and I do deal with her behaviors but I know she can be a good and kind girl.
Maybe, you're mom wanted you to focus in school and get good grades through out your school years so she thought it would help you. I know it's not easy to have a disability. You will get through your struggle and talk to someone you trust and tell them how you feel and maybe someone can be by your side. I am always there for my daughter and if she ever needs my help, I'm right there for her. As a mom, it hasn't been easy for me to deal with her but I get her to calm down so she can talk to me slowly and not yell at me.

thank you so much for sharing your story.
