| (4.5)| Hi, Cat. This is probably one of the strangest horror stories I've read on here (or anywhere else), but it's pretty good. When I set that prompt I had no idea what I would get since I threw it out there off the top of my head, but you really thought outside of the box with it! I like this idea of your iPhone going nutso on and eventually getting inside your (our) mind, and the style was extremely original. I'll admit it was a little confusing in a few spots, but that's understandable since if this was really happening, it would be mind boggling! The 'processing' was a nice touch as it gradually took over your mind, like it was plugging into you, and that ending was great. Artificial intelligence is already here, and it won't be long before something like this is really happening. I don't know if you remember the fictional show The $6 Million Dollar Man from the 70s, but that's already here! Our physical bodies are being replaced by computer chips and other mechanical devices at exponential speed. How many people these can walk though a metal detector naked and still hear those beeps? Artificial hips, plates in our heads, metal rods in our arms and legs? It's just a matter of time...TIME...TIME...ERROR...ERROR...DOES NOT COMPUTE...PROGRAM IS NOT RESPONDING... Great job, Cat! Kee ponw ritin gon, my friend, and I to see more of your stories in "SCREAMS!!!"
