*Pumpkin2* Greetings, Chris Breva ! I found your item, "Was the Christmas Star real?, in Random Reviews and decided to review it. *Smile*

First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. *Smile* Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest.

My First Impression

Interesting! I can't imagine celebrating Christmas on August 12th which could be well in the 80s or perhaps 90, temperature-wise, but from what you present here, it does make sense! I've heard (many years ago) that October had been the original month for the birth of Christ, but I don't remember why. But I do remember hearing about His birthday being celebrated with the time of the winter solstice, considered a pagan celebration. It's all very interesting indeed and it seems to me that you've done your research!

Suggestions

In the first paragraph: was actually probably in the summer. The Bible doesn't actually say you might want to omit the first actually to avoid such close repetition: was probably in the summer. The Bible doesn't actually say

In the second paragraph: they would see it to as would anybody else, I'm not sure if you meant to to be too or if you didn't mean for it to be there at all. they would see it, too, as would anybody else or they would see it as would anybody else

*Starb* What I found most interesting...
The point is however that no shepherd in Israel would spend the night out in the field with their sheep in the winter.

This fact has never occurred to me! Very interesting! Thank you for bringing us readers to light on this topic. And speaking of light, the star information you provide is also thought-provoking!

*Thumbsup* Nicely written! I hope my suggestions were helpful. *Smile*

Have a great day and...
