Well, that's a nice story. You held the suspense throughout, and I liked both the twists at the end!

Just a few small points:

For the genre, I see you've chosen 'contest'. This implies a contest that people can enter. It's better to choose 'contest entry'.

There's a small typo -- you've said 'higher rank that myself'. You mean 'than' myself.

Maybe you'd like to standardise the capital letter for the word 'Queen'.

I didn't understand the bit about being chosen -- does that mean she would suck her blood ... ?

Overall comment: Looks like you wrote this for the Writer's Cramp. Now that the contest is over, you might like to expand it a bit, I think it has the potential to be a longer story!
