A Brief History of the 30DBC [E] The oldest Blogging Challenge on WDC wouldn't be here without these people - Thank you! |
Hallo! I came across this through the random review button, and I'm glad I did. It's fascinating! It not only traces the history of a particular challenge, it also tells us something about the WDC members as people -- going to college, having a book published. I wish more long-running items would provide such a history. I have, for example, seen "The Writer's Cramp - Poetry Week" change hands once and increase its prizes once -- I wonder what else is in its history that I am not aware of. I like the layout of this piece, the easy-to-read font and the year-by-year progression. A suggestion: I would've liked to have a quote from each of the members you mention, about how it felt to be involved in this activity. One or two lines -- what was most challenging, what was frustrating. I think that would give it a personal touch and be fun, too! A couple of points: Um -- I didn't understand the drop down note! Did Fivesixer take over as host in 2014 or 2015? Blog on! Sonali My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
