I've been fortunate to experience Real Winter as a child, adolescent, and sometimes during my adult years. (Insufficiently) So all you've written here resonates with the remembrances of my physical and emotional senses. However, I wish to give you additional praise, because you've written with such clarity that someone, say from Hawaii, Vietnam, or Malaysia, could still vicariously experience SNOW. That's extra special--your ability to bring the imagery across even to those without this experience.
