That is one scary story. Both the domestic violence portion, and perhaps even scarier, the revelations. You have really stirred up my thought processes today. This story is not an encouraging signpost on the inevitable path to AI, as I am certain you already realise. Considering that any robotic device is bound to be physically stronger than humans, the concept of robot mates is--well, inspiring of SCREAMS!!

Not for me, thanks. I'd prefer to remain alone. It's much Safer.
