I am impelled to announce how much I love this contest! For quite some time, I paid no attention, because I don't consider myself a poet nor think I can write poetry (except once in a rare blue moon). For some reason, I tuned in on January 21, and "fell in love" with the contest. "Adiloquent!" What does that even mean? So I tried it; and in just two days's entries, I learned 3 new words (one a rare 14th century French noun used in heraldry), and my vocabulary is enlarging. Plus it's fun and imaginatively beneficial to try to find synonyms, antonyms, and so forth to fit with the wonderful prompt words (wherever do you find these?). The fun for me is the use of language and learning new vocabulary and exercising those creative muscles; and that's one of the best aspects of WDC!
