First impression: Great extended metaphor.

Opening: Perfectly sets up the narrator's perspective and sets expectations for the reader.

Ending: Like I said, great metaphor, though perhaps hammers the point home too much. But the analogy is certainly sound, and I like how it refers back to an earlier point at the end.

Suggestions: Not very many; I think the work stands well on its own.

Unlike what you see in films, we mostly speak Russian rather than English with a Russian accent. But the Russian accents are so much fun.

I was still too young to understand the concept of scientific experimentation, so I figured their reason for probing people was that they were perverts. Too young to understand how science works, but old enough to know about perverts? Wow. Russia really is an alien planet.

Also unlike portrayed in your movies, we could easily have killed Rambo in real life. Lies.

Overall: You probably don't need to overemphasize the moral of the story; I think most readers can figure out the parallel. It's good to have a different perspective on one's culture from someone raised in a different country, so I appreciated reading this. I'd never realized that Russia didn't have the same obsession with space aliens that we did. And "blind fear can lead to a waste of time and resources" is a good revelation, supported by everything else in the essay.
