What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* This wonderful story is about a reaffirmation of faith. One is anxious for another's well being, cast adrift in a boat that is a metaphor for life, itself. But, trusting in a greater power, (where faith comes in) will lead us all (eventually) to a greater peace.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

As one who is a worrier and anxious, I identified strongly with the first person narrator in this. I am still struggling to find a way to be at peace in anxious situations where (yikes) one does not have control. This reminded me of The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway in the sense that Santiago's struggle is what we all go through in some way in life. The metaphor is effective and very moving.

I think you have taken it and the affirmation of faith to a new level of serenity. I enjoyed reading your story and thinking about what faith and life is really about. We really don't control much, although the illusion is sometimes present and influential.
