Lessons of life [E] What is life in overall and what do we get out of it ? |
Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Greetings, Lifelearner! This is a well-written learning piece, and what you said here should not be taken for granted. I'm 53, and I've made more than my share of mistakes getting to this age, but like you say, they were all learning experiences, not matter how much I thought I'd failed. Even when we fail, we learn from our mistakes, and that in itself helps us to improve. A perfect example is wanting to be a writer and hoping to get something published. Very few writers have their first piece accepted, and in fact, many writers get ten or hundreds of rejection letters before they get something accepted. I was lucky. Not that my first piece was accepted (because it wasn't!), but because I didn't expect to have my first piece accepted! Like most things in life, I realized it would take practice, and I kept my hopes up! Fortunately they paid off! I like how you touched on so many of life's learning experiences, and that lessons can come from anywhere and everywhere! Well done, my friend! My only suggestion would be to tighten up the punctuation (spaces between them, etc. and being more consistent with the word 'you'-either use 'you' or just 'u') Kee ponw riting on, and welcome to WdC! If you like to write, then you're going to love it here! PS-You might want to get your bioblock (biography) set up so we can know a little something about you (hobbies, favorite books/authors, location, etc.), but that's up to you, of course. PSS-And since you’re new here, perhaps you’d like to check out "Noticing Newbies" and introduce yourself to the rest of the community if you haven’t already.
PSSS-If you want more exposure for your items you can put them on the Please Review Page or The Shameless Plug Page under Community on the left hand side.
