Greetings, Kyle!
Hmm. Well, I thought this was very well written, and you've done a heckuva job of getting our curiosity up, but then you left us high and dry. So I'm kind of at odds with how I should rate this.
Don't get me wrong; as I said, you're spelling and grammar are flawless (thank you!), and you've grabbed our attention, but you could have at least said 'To be continued', which is hopefully what you're going to do!
However, since I see that this is for a contest, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because I do know that there's one contest on here (or was) that called for cliffhangers like this.
But now after checking, I don't see it anymore...
OK. Here's what I'm going to do. You finish this, or at least continue it, and I'll re-review this and raise my rating. You've got a good piece going here so far, Kyle, so don't keep us in the dark! I want to know if your dad was keeping a dead body in that office, or parts of dead bodies, or jars of eyeballs, or something!
