Ahoy, Pernell!
This is good. I like the creep factor of getting lost on what was once a semi-familiar road, and using that Garmin GPS was a really nice touch.
Great job using that prompt phrase, too, but the ending was a little sudden. Don't get me wrong; I've written a lot of these 300 words stories, and sometimes you have to bring them to a screeching halt whether you want to or not.
Regardless though, I like the plot of this, and if you ever to decide to, I think you could expand on this!
