Hello!

I was happy to see your name again as I work my way down the list of things to review. I hope our review challenge is treating you well *HeartT*

This was such a good list.

In particular, I liked your list of things to say "no" to. The second list item made me stop to consider my own priorities, and actually ended up hitting really close to home.

2. Putting on makeup every week before rehearsal.

This is something I've been guilty of in the past; whenever I'm going through a phase where I'm trying to feel better about myself, one of the first things I do is lean on cosmetics. I went through several "empowering" phases of my life where I'd get up thirty minutes earlier than I needed to in order to make myself feel prettier, or get obsessed with makeup tutorials, or promise myself that I was going to start wearing makeup every day until I got good enough at being pretty.

I'm on sort of a self-improvement kick right now, but I haven't worn makeup a single time since New Year's. I think it's the longest I've ever gone in my adult life without eyeliner or concealer and I was actually just thinking I should probably start wearing it again if I ever want to feel really good about my appearance.

I know I went off on a little bit of a tangent there, but I just really wanted to thank you. Reading that list item, hearing your reasons for saying no to that, had such a positive impact on me just now and I wanted to share. *HeartT*

As for the other items, it seems like you have a really good grasp of the things that are dragging you down that are in your power to change, and the things that are good that you should embrace more fully. It read like you were being very honest with yourself about your logic behind things and your ability to make things better.

I hope that you got something wonderful out of writing this like I did out of reading it. I'm looking forward to reading more of your work soon.

Sincerely,

Cat
