Hey again!

This was amazing. Every line struck me in a different way. I felt like I was reading, but when it ended, it was like I'd been carried through a journey, unsure of how I'd made it to the end. I read it back a second time before I read it aloud, and the words sounded so good to my ears.

This was upsetting, beautiful, and disturbingly easy to relate to in bits and pieces despite an overall sense of abstraction.

My favorite line was as follows:



Although, nearly every line of the poem is a close second.

Reading through all of that, I was shocked to see that this didn't take first place in the contest you'd entered it into. Thank you, again, for sharing this with the Review Challenge group. You're probably going to get tired of hearing me say this throughout May, but I love reading your work so much and I hope I keep getting the chance to do so.
