Hello 🌕 HuntersMoon ,

OVERALL IMPRESSION:
Wow, what a great poem you crafted here. You took me on a virtual journey from pioneer days through a lifetime of experiences and then to a great reminder / life lesson. I enjoyed every word of your poem and suspect you're going to win your contest. Well done!

More detailed feedback:

Your poem is so well crafted that I had trouble picking a favorite line.. or even a favorite couplet. But here's my choice *Smile*:
"A dresser, a chair, keepsakes once held tight,
now just impediments to a future bright."
I picked it because I'm on a decluttering journey and it's personally meaningful to me. But really most of your poem fits in this category.

The way you brought things together at the end was delightful to me as a reader (and as a mushy person who loves a happy ending *Smile*.

I liked how you structured your poem and that you told a whole story with it.

You managed to evoke strong emotions in me as I read your poem. Particularly this line, so depressing yet so true: "The battle with time would never be won."

I didn't notice any mistakes of any kind in your poem.

Your poem is so well written that I have no suggestions for improvement.

Thank you for sharing your great biographical poem!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler
