Greetings, Lauren!
I like this, and having been to jail on more than one intoxicated evening, I can certainly relate to this. Didn't have it on my bucket list, though! *Laugh*
You did a nice job of telling this, and for such a short piece, you managed to get the whole story in. It even had a good ending! Or sad one?
Regardless, I like how your character laughs this scenario off, even as the cop tries to play 'Mr. Tough Guy'.
One niggle:
'He asks as the cop cinching the cuffs on barks at us to shut up.' (“)
