Bon jour ~MM~, and happy belated 8th 'birthday' on here!
For such a short piece (yes, I know it was for 500 word FF Saturday), I thought this was pretty good. I know you didn't get it into "SCREAMS!!!"  on time, but I'm glad you still threw it out for us to read.
Your descriptions were very vivid, and I like how you didn't let us know who/what your characters were right away.
I love that ending with the hand slapping against the window, and the spelling and grammar were excellent, but I did spot one little missing word:
'It’s only a short drop so she needs (to) dive as hard as possible for full effect.'
If only Alfred Hitchcock had seen this virtual avian blood bath, he probably would have added it as another scene in his movie, The Birds!
