Guten tag, Linn Browning! This is neat! I like the concept of this clerk being able to take her thoughts, whether good or bad, from her. And leaving her with no recollection what happened was a cool way to end it. And it didn't even cost her a cent! This gives me an idea, but I'm sure it's already been used. But you can't put a copyright on an idea! Great spelling and telling, but I did spot one tiny comma niggle: 'The silver needed polishing(,) but otherwise(,) it was perfect.'
