Hello there, Jimmy Terrible (Kind of reminds me of Johnny Rotten, the singer from The Sex Pistols!)!
I'm no songwriter or musician, but I do love my rock and roll, and I also love horror and dark things. So it was your byline for this piece that drew me to it.
From what I gather, this song is about a person who was betrayed by a lover who based their own feelings on their dumb superstitions. This is definitely NOT a good way to maintain a relationship! I can't imagine waking up every morning and seeing 'my better half' sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee and dealing out Tarot cards, saying "Oh, dear. It looks we're going to have to break up today because the cards show a red queen with a blue moon and a Joker holding a sword!"
*Laugh*
Seriously, that was the image I got from these lyrics! Please know that I'm not making fun of your lyrics, only that that was picture I got in my mind while I was writing this!
Seriously though, the lyrics don't sound bad. I just wish I could hear some music to go along with them!
