Bon jour, Nordic Noir!
Erica seems like a pretty good scammer, and to be using her prosthetic leg to lure her innocent victims in is a cool little ruse. I’m not exactly sure why she’s taken this dark road of life though, but as you say, it can get boring in the ‘yawn of middle America’, so a pretty, petite blonde with one leg has to do something to keep herself amused. *Laugh*
Nice job, Nordic! I like that surprise ending with the sleeping powder for her ‘good Samaritan’, and those references to The Wizard of Oz were a nice touch!
