Ahoy, Jim! This is a really nice piece! You did an excellent job of showing this young man's adversity to his illness by using 'laughter as the best medicine', and you've written it so well it could probably even bring tears to some folks! The whole piece is written as the story of his life and how he brings smiles and hope to others, even after he's beaten his own terminal illness. Like they say, 'the show must go on', I guess. I was a little surprised that this isn't the first I've read of this young man. I clicked on "The Jester" and was surprised that I read and reviewed it 5 years ago! Very well done, my friend! I'll try to take a look at the rest of these in The Jester Poems if I get a chance! Kee ponw ritin gon, thanks for sharing this great and uplifting piece, and have a fantastic day!
