Hi!

I like this story poem. The narrative is great that makes me reading it to the end.. I could imagine where they are. You paints a nice picture of nature and the two boys Eric and Derek.

I admire the sound words choice (onomatopoeia )and the images you have used here.
“CRACK, then again, like the strike of a snake,
the old oak shed a branch from it's top,
while warning the boys with the sound of its break,
before hitting them both with a PLOP!”

In conclusion, it is a very good poem . The tone is quiet and very melodic.
