This is a micro-review for poetry written by Baloney Bill for the poem "Invalid Item for the group "The WDC Angel Army. Please note that this review reflects my opinion and is given with the intention of being constructive and encouraging. I hope you find it helpful.

**Impressions**

A very good title that is suitable to the subject of your poem. It sets the stage for it in its reflection of your theme’s intent - adventurous drivers - while at the same time capturing your poem’s essence as it acts as a portal to invite readers into it. Excellent use of alliteration in your title. Well done. For me, poetry opens the door of opportunity for the writer to explore different ways of presenting poetry and to do it in new and unique ways to stimulate readers even if we sometimes bend the rules of forms to make it our own. I'm a formalist poet and I love to read, write and create form poetry. I love minimalistic poetry and this is a very good write and message. A skillfully crafted Limerick which I enjoy that is short, concise and succinct. Perfect form.

Good imagery and descriptives. Good use of color and shade in your wording that promotes and evokes emotion. You paint a vivid picture of fast drivers on highways that any reader can see in their mind’s eye. Flow is good as is the line to line transition and breaks. Very nice rhythm. Good use of descriptive/comparison. Rhyme is good as is the rhyme scheme. A nice mix of perfect feminine and masculine end line rhyme that is executed beautifully in this piece.

Good depth of feeling. I like the humor expressed as well as the subtle warning regarding fast drivers. There’s a sense of concern for survival from this type of driving and that one must take care when highway driving which I can understand and relate to. Word choice is good as is the use of alliteration, nice assonance and consonance. No spelling errors found. I especially like the following lines:
“Though the highways are free,
I have one simple plea:
Slow or fast, let us be road survivors.” — there is wisdom in this advice about safety on the roads so that we can survive them that we need to keep in mind; makes good sense.

**Overall**

A very good write and message. Although a short piece, there is a lesson to be learned for safety’s sake. Well penned and a much enjoyed read. Write on!
