Hello, Paul! This is interesting. I remember back when I was in my late 70s, but I still considered myself to be just middle-aged. Seriously though, I’m not sure when the line crosses over from being middle-aged to being an old fart. I was a father at 18 and a grandfather when I was 38. I’m currently 54, and although my health and body feel a little older, I still feel like I’m only in my 30s. I’ll say one thing: time marches on exponentially with each passing year! Ian and Bill seem to have a lot in common (almost too much—I was half-expecting them to find out they were long lost brothers for a little while!), so to see them have that camaraderie as they sat there on that park bench was cool. I love the realistic dialect you used, as well as the dialogue, and the fact that they’re going to start an Old Fart’s club was fitting. I’m not sure what they’re wives are going to say when find out they were going to be in it, though! One tiny niggle: ‘japan’(Japan) Otherwise, nice job! Kee ponw ritin gon, Paul, and have a wonderful evening!
