*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews*CakeP*

Hi, Kenzie, and happy belated 18th *Shock2* ‘birthday’ on here!
I’m reviewing this as a "The WDC Angel Army Angel and to thank you for all the reviews you do on this site!
This is a really neat and informational article, and I’m so glad you decided to share it with everybody instead of keeping it just as a blog post. In fact, before I even came to the ending of it I was going to suggest you do just that!
I’ve been writing my whole life, but I never got serious about it until I joined WdC and decided it was time I tried to get something published. Like some writers, I thought my stories were the best in the world, so I had no 2nd thoughts about sending my stories off to some of the most well known and prestigious magazines I could find, knowing full well they’d accept anything I submitted because I was JUST THAT GOOD.
WRONG!
Your line about how we have to learn to crawl before we can walk was never more fitting!
I’ve known about ‘fillers’ from reading my dad’s Reader’s Digests back in the 70s, but I have yet to submit to them. Don’t know why cuz they pay pretty good. But I like how you mentioned other magazines, and that calendar picture was a complete surprise! *Shock*
Great piece, Kenzie!
By the way, after my first attempts at trying to have some big-time magazine publish my stories, I lowered my standards and started submitting to smaller, less known mags, and low and behold, now I’ve been published 12 times by 8 different publishers: online, in paperback anthologies, one magazine, and one in the hardcover edition of The 2016 Writing.Com Anthology!
So the way I look at it, not only have I learned to crawl, but now I’m walking! And hopefully I’ll be running soon! *Laugh*
Kee ponw ritin gon, my friend, and may you have many more wonderful ‘birthdays’ on WdC!
PS-Maybe you should post this on the Newsfeed again so Newbies and others who haven’t seen it can check it out!
